Dr. Katie Leoni
Everyone’s path is different. Your experiences, values, strengths, and hopes for change are what makes your story uniquely yours. I believe therapy should feel personalized and supportive, not like you have to fit into a “one size fits all” model. Reaching out for help can feel vulnerable or even a little intimidating, and I work hard to make that first step feel as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
In our work together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe being yourself and honest, without fear of judgment. I bring professional training and structure to our sessions, but you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll gently explore patterns that may be holding you back, practice new ways of responding to difficult emotions or situations, and build skills that support real, meaningful change. I use approaches like CBT, exposure-based work, ACT, and self-compassion to help you move forward in ways that feel manageable and aligned with what matters most to you. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you feel more confident and capable in your day-to-day life.
As a mother of two young children, I deeply understand how intense, emotional, and sometimes isolating pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood can be. I’m especially passionate about supporting people through these transitions and offering a space where you can talk openly about the parts that feel hard, messy, or overwhelming. Many of the clients I work with come in feeling anxious, low, stuck, or unsure of themselves. Together, we create a set of tools tailored to you, so you can feel more grounded, cope more effectively, and build a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
If you’re wondering whether therapy might be helpful, I’d be happy to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
